Kristen is passionate about providing evidence best, patient-centered-care to people who are in need. Kristen believes in providing people with the appropriate tools to make them successful in their everyday living. The provider and patient relationship is extremely important to Kristen, as she feels this relationship must have open communication and to trust each other. She has been recommending medical marijuana for three years in two different states. It has been an incredible experience to hear the stories of her patients and how marijuana has been helpful. She looks forward to working with you. In her spare time Kristen enjoys being outside either hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, biking or paddle boarding. She enjoys dancing, listening to music, traveling abroad, learning new cultures and spending time with her friends and family. She is always trying out new sports and looking for new adventures.



Maryellen was born and raised here in Connecticut. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 21 years. She has worked in a variety of specialties during her career including home care, family practice, surgery, internal medicine and surgical oncology. Maryellen has seen the benefits that traditional medical care has provided for many patients over the past 21 years. She has also seen the struggles and suffering when that same traditional medical care has not succeeded in managing the patients condition. She firmly believes that medical marijuana has significantly improved the quality of the life for the patients who are currently using it for a variety of medical conditions. There are many different formulations of medical marijuana that can benefit each person. Additionally, CBD plays a role in the improvement of symptom management for a variety of medical conditions. She looks forward to speaking with you and helping you begin or continue your journey utilizing medical marijuana.

Dr. Katrin “Kat” Moskowitz


Dr. Katrin “Kat” Moskowitz is a doctorally trained dual certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). As a Connecticut resident since 2001, she has seen medical and behavioral health crisis’s evolve first hand in her community, as an Emergency Room Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in many settings.

​Katrin is a natural born leader and self-starter who prides herself in how she has grown throughout her career and uses all of her knowledge and real life experiences to benefit her patients. Her patients appreciate her compassion, her honesty, her willingness to take on the tough issues and the ability to be passionate and determined to make changes. She understands that health is not just about a patient’s medical conditions but a culmination of socioeconomic factors, medical issues, and behavioral health issues. Katrin understands that treatment regimens can be balanced between traditional medicine and holistic approaches and has been helping patients become connected to the medical marijuana program since its start in Connecticut.
